Admission in Danish School System, Chishtian


Basically it is an exercise to eliminate poverty and assist the vulnerable children through focus on education. The target groups are the most marginalized and poorest of the poor. They will be provided free education, boarding and lodging. The criteria will be poverty and merit.

A certain percentage of seats will be open for those who can afford to pay. We hope to provide children from financially disabled background with an enabling environment with opportunities that will help promote creative thinking, lifelong learning and a confident human being.

Daanish School Chishtian announces its admission in February in leading news paper of the country. The admission forms are also made available at DDOR offices of each tehsil. The admission test and interviews are held at the school. A student who has passed class-5 and is of the age of 10-12 is eligible to apply. The income of parents/ guardians must not be more than Rs. 6000. Admission is purely based on candidate’s category, performance in test and interview. There are seven different categories of admission.

Term and Condition about Children 

  1. He is orphan having lost both of his parent and having no guardian or being taken care of an elder sibling or a member of extended family.
  2. He is orphan and living his mother.
  3. His both parents are illiterate; the parents do not own an immoveable property and either of them is disabled.
  4. He has been a school dropout and his both parents are illiterate and the parents do not own any immovable property.
  5. His both parents are illiterate; the parents do not own any immovable property and do not have any fixed job or source of income.
  6. He is not resident of a town, tehsil or district headquarters and any of his parents is a semi-skilled or unskilled menial village worker, and the parents do not own any immovable property and are illiterate, and
  7. He is resident of a town, tehsil or district headquarters and his household resides in a katcha house.
